Project Kyzen, the casual Web3 multiplayer title from Impact Theory Studios and creator Tom Bilyeu, smashes on the scene on August 22 with a little extra power. Players can compete in the title’s five unique Mini Battle Arena (MiBA) games modes as the legendary martial artist: Bruce Lee.

Developed in partnership with the Bruce Lee Family Company, the avatar bundle for Project Kyzen will feature custom skins, apparel and accessory items. These items can either be unlocked or purchased to customize their gameplay experience.

Ultimately, this agreement aims to impart Lee’s philosophy to a new generation too. The skin bundle aims to capture Bruce Lee’s teachings and persona into Project Kyzen, not just his look.

“Bruce Lee’s Tao of Jeet Kune Do changed my life when I was young and put me on the path to developing the mindset that’s allowed me to achieve hyper-success,” said Tom Bilyeu, CEO and cofounder of Impact Theory. “Integrating Bruce’s timeless wisdom and iconic persona into Project Kyzen is a dream come true. He inspired our mission to empower gamers worldwide, and we’re beyond excited to bring Bruce Lee into the game. It allows players the chance to embody his greatness and engage with his teachings in a dynamic and immersive way.”

“We see gaming as an essential space for Bruce Lee’s teachings and martial arts to reach fans who are inspired by Bruce but aren’t necessarily martial arts practitioners,” said Bruce Lee Family Company CEO Shannon Lee. “Project Kyzen’s immersive Mini-Battle Arenas are the perfect setting for his Jeet Kune Do moves, and we can’t wait to see it in action.”

“Project Kyzen’s dynamic, uplifting, and unique approach to gaming is a great fit with my father’s approach to entertainment and life,” said Bruce Lee Family Company CEO Shannon Lee. “By integrating his teachings and persona into the game, we hope to inspire players to excellence and a fun-filled time!”

According to Lee, Project Kyzen was chosen based on the game’s uplifting and unique approach to storytelling. The title’s five MiBA give user-generated content creators several ways to craft interactive stories using Project Kyzen.

Tom Bilyeu, the creator of Impact Theory Studios, rose to prominence as the cofounder of Quest Nutrition. He leveraged this experience to cofound a successful motivational, health and entrepreneurship podcast and media company, Impact Theory.

In 2022, Bilyeu first announced plans for Project Kyzen following Impact Theory’s 2021 Impact Theory Founders Key NFT drop. In 2023, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commision (SEC) accused Impact Theory of selling unregistered securities through its 2021 NFT drop. The company latter settled with the SEC, which included Impact Theory paying $6.1 million in fines

Project Kyzen and its Bruce Lee avatar launch on August 22, 2024.
